Handmade Goods - Advanced Processes

Grounded Works began with Hunter Allen’s (owner), Senior Year Capstone Project. Hunter graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Design, with a concentration in product. For years Hunter had been collecting wallets, acknowledging trends and style, Hunter decided to create a product line of leather goods. The aim of the process was to combine the quality of handmade goods with the accuracy and capability of advanced technology. During this project, Hunter and two of his closest friends took a trip to Costa Rica for their spring break. This is where the idea of Grounded was born. The definition of ‘Grounded’ is to be well balanced and sensible; that is exactly what is what we try to accomplish in our product!

Grounded Works has a brick and mortar location in uptown Blowing Rock, NC. The shop in Blowing Rock displays a variety of everyday carry (EDC) products. Such as one of a kind wallets, purses, apparel, and more. You can find Grounded Works at 1179 Main St, Blowing Rock, NC.
